How To Start A Craft Blog 2022

Unedited Transcript

[00:00:00] Hello. And welcome back to the channel today. I’m going to show you step by step how to start a craft blog. So what we are going to cover today is what is a craft blog. I’m on provide a few examples. I’m going to show you and tell you why you need to pick a niche, how to niche down, and get web hosting.

[00:00:14] Now, I will explain why you need web hosting as a new blog or website, and I’ll show you how you can get a free domain name for free for the first year. After that, I’m going to show you how to install work. How do I install both a free and premium WordPress theme, essential changes you need to make to your website to get traffic, and how to start.

[00:00:34] After that, we’re going to talk about some ways that you can make money, why you need to share your content on social media in the very beginning, and about how many blog posts you need to write to start getting trim traction. Now, I recommend that you click the first three links in the description, as they will be the links I referred to throughout this video.

[00:00:49] So let’s go ahead and get right into it. What is a craft blog? Now? A craft blog is simply a blog where you’re answering questions and solving problems—different craft niches. For example, maybe you are targeting kids, crafts. Perhaps you’re targeting summer crafts, holiday cramps. There’s a huge niche of art.

[00:01:07] And I’m going to show you how to find a niche and niche down right now. So what we’re going to do is we’re going to jump over to. A website called hobby lobby. I’m sure you’re familiar with it. Now. Hobby Lobby is grand because it’s a craft store, but if we look at the different departments, you can see that these are all different crafts that you could create.

[00:01:23] In fact, you could even niche down and create content under some of these other boxes or some of these alternatives as well. But this is, these are different options for you. And there’s a lot of opportunities here. You need to pick one of these departments is what they’re called on hobby lobby, but these are our niches that you could get into.

[00:01:42] You could start a floral wedding craft blog. If you want to, everything you can do is check out websites that are actually—forming well in the craft space. For example, if we go over to, if we go over to a beautiful mess.com, this is a craft website that is gaining some traffic. One thing that you can do is you can reverse engineer what they’re doing and replicate and improve.

[00:02:03] So what we can do here is we’re just going to copy the domain name, and I’m going to talk a little bit more about the domain name in just a moment. I’m going to copy this and put it in our keyword research tool, and we’re going to see what words are ranking for, and then that can help with. Help give us some direction.

[00:02:18] Now, in the very beginning, when you have a brand new blog or website, you want to focus on keywords that have a difficulty of five or fewer. If you look at this here, the K D Ray here is zero to 100. So anything above five will be a challenge for you to start ranking and get some traction as a new blog or website.

[00:02:35] If you are using this tool, you can change the keyword, difficulty to five or less, and then you can see what they’re ranking for and should give you an idea of the type of blog. You could start. For example, as you can see, galaxy nails are organizing for a live edge coffee table. So you could show people how to make furniture.

[00:02:55] But you could go through here and take a look. I saw something where baby headbands could be something that you create continent. That’s an entire niche that ended up itself like baby crafts or crafts that you could make for new parents are expecting. So what I recommend is that you pick a niche and then niche down again, go over to hobby lobby or Michael’s, whatever you prefer, and look at the different departments.

[00:03:17] These are all different sub-niches that you could get in. All right. So let’s go back over to our slide deck here. The next thing you need to do is you need to get web hosting. Now, web hosting is a company that you’ll work with. You will rent hard drive space called a server, and that web hosting company will make sure that your website is available for people from around the internet to see your website.

[00:03:39] You’ll pay a monthly fee, but you’ll get a domain name for free for the first year. And the great thing is. They’ll the web hosting company will take care of everything on the backend. So you’re just responsible for adding content and making sure that everything is up to date. And if we go back over to the website that we referenced earlier, a beautiful mass.com is the domain name.

[00:03:59] You’ll get one of those for free for the first year. So what you’ll do is click the link in the description, and I’ll actually walk you through the process of getting a domain name and why posting right. So when you click that link, you’ll be taken to this website, where you’ll go ahead and click get started.

[00:04:13] I recommend clicking the first one on the far left, the basic plan. If you’re just getting started with a website, but as you can see, there are several options, but click that click select, and then move on here. You’re going to create a domain name. If you have one in mind, you’re going to type it in here.

[00:04:25] Like you see that I do. What I recommend is to try and find a domain name. It’s going to be related to your niche. Now, what I do is type in a domain name that I know is already taken. When it’s accepted, you’re going to get this. You can then do go back and try different domains. Now make sure again that you want to pick one related to your niche, click next, and then you’re going to see a green box that says that it’s approved.

[00:04:47] The next step is to go through and enter your contact information. Make sure. When you scroll down here and make sure that you leave all of the settings on but again, entering your contact information, the scenes right here, where it says domain privacy, leave all of this check. If you don’t leave a statement, you’re going to get people reaching out to you.

[00:05:04] Spamming you, emailing you, trying to get you to sign up for web hosting. So what I’m going to do is I’m going to go ahead and sign up and then jump back to you once I sign on and move to the next step. All right. So I have signed up, and I’m going to go ahead and set up my website. Just create a simple username and password, make sure it meets the requirements.

[00:05:24] And then move on, make sure that you write it down to write it down in a safe spot so that you have it. And you remember it because it can be a pain to go ahead and get everything back and have to enter in some vital information, but just make sure that you write it down. So it’s effortless and straightforward.

[00:05:39] Now, one thing that I do want to note is that this part is not sped up. This is real-time. And you can see that you’ll go from absolutely nothing to a complete website in less than probably 10 minutes. And once you click submit, you’re going to move on to the next step, where you get to log in. So here is where you’re going to start creating your WordPress website.

[00:05:58] Now, the great thing is Bluehost does everything for you. And it’s straightforward. So again, I’m not speeding us up at all, and I want you to see what it takes to create a web. So Bluehost is going to do a little bit of work in the background for you. And we’re just going to click on skip this step.

[00:06:15] This first one I clicked on. I started a blog, but just click, skip because we know what we’re doing for the next step. And I’m going to tell you what to do so that we can get up and running. So click get started right here on the left-hand side. And then move on. Just click, skip here. And click skip here and then just pick the first one in the far left.

[00:06:36] Make sure that you’re picking a three theme because they’ll charge you. They have both free and premium articles, which we’ll talk about in just a moment. So right now, it’s creating your WordPress website in just a few moments. You’re going to click on LA. To WordPress on the right-hand side there, you’ll see it in just a second.

[00:06:51] And then we can start looking at some basic configurations. All right. So we click login in. Now we have a WordPress website. You may need to click refresh a few times to get it to work, but now we have our website, as you can see. Now, what I’m going to do is I’m going to log in and delete a few plugins.

[00:07:10] Because right now it has the coming soon. And so if someone tried to get to your website at this moment, it’s going to say coming soon to them, even though we can see it, this is what your WordPress website looks like. But for everyone else outside of your network, it’s going to say coming soon. So what we’re going to do is we’re going to go down to plugins eventually, and we’re going to delete some of the plugins that we don’t need.

[00:07:31] Now, I will talk a bit about plugins later on. Plugins add additional features and functionality. We are going to deactivate the blue host as well as the other plugins that are already activated. And then we can go through and make the necessary changes, which I’ll cover in just a moment. So we’re going to deactivate them and then delete them.

[00:07:49] Now you want to make sure that you only. The plugins you’re using on your website, the more plugins you have, the slower your website’s going to respond and function, and you’re going to lose out on ranking. So make sure you have a lean setup, very few plugins, and then move on. As you can see right now, I’m just simply bleeding some stuff that you don’t.

[00:08:09] If you want to, you could keep them, but obviously, you don’t need this other stuff if you’re just getting started. What’s more important is the themes that we’re going to talk about in just a moment, as well as getting writing. So I’m just going to go ahead and delete those, deactivate them. And then we’re going to start moving on to settings, which is all right. So let’s go ahead and make some changes that we have to make so that you can start getting traffic. The first thing you want to do is change your site title to be the title of your website. You can make this your domain name. For example, my domain name is web hosting rewind, and you can see that’s my site title.

[00:08:41] And then the tagline. What your website’s all about—any very concise manner. As you can see here, mindsets, get the latest news and info on all things—web hosting. What you want to do is make sure that yours is relevant to your niche. For example, if you are creating content about makeup, you can say, come here for the latest tips and tricks for all things makeup.

[00:09:02] Next, you want to ensure that your WordPress address is HTTPS and not HTTP. Make sure your site address is HTTPS as well. And then, the administration email should automatically be set to uncheck the membership so that anyone can register. Make sure that this is unchecked. If we scroll down here, you want to change your time zone to your time zone.

[00:09:24] There are all sorts of them here. Next, do you want to make sure that your date format is set to the way you want? And then go ahead and click save. If we go down to writing, there isn’t anything in writing that we need to change. After that, we’re going to go to reading and reading is very important.

[00:09:40] You want to make sure that your homepage displays your latest posts. That’s the first thing. And the second one is you want to make sure that your search. Visibility is unchecked. Do not check this to discourage search engines from indexing. This site, you do not want it because if this is tracked people, aren’t going to be able to find your website, and everything that we do after this is going to be a waste.

[00:10:03] So go ahead and click save. This should be unchecked next. If we go down to discussion, there isn’t anything that we need to change. Media, we can leave this as is, and then permalinks will be necessary right now. Your permalinks are set to plane. Do you want to change it to a post name?

[00:10:20] This has been done for search engine optimization. What’s going to happen is when we create a new blog post, we are going to make it so that it’s search engine optimized. We’re going to use the keyword in our title, and the keyword will show up right here is. And this is called search engine optimization.

[00:10:37] Make sure that it’s at the post name and then go ahead and click save, and that’s everything that you need to do to make sure that you start getting traffic. All right. So now that we’ve installed WordPress, we’ve established a free theme. I’m going to show you how to install a premium WordPress theme in just a moment, and we’ve made some changes so that you can start getting traffic right now.

[00:10:55] You have a free, basic—theme on your website. I recommend that you go out and get yourself a premium theme because it’s going to add additional features and functionality. That’s going to make your website look a lot better. So, for example, if we go over to a beautiful mess.com, this is a premium WordPress theme.

[00:11:12] You can see it’s inviting. It is. It looks much better. Look at these different colors here and the diverse menu. This is all from a premium theme. And if you click the second link in the description, you can get a premium theme. So when you click that second link, it will take you to this website here.

[00:11:29] And what you can do is just type in your craft or the title of your blog, and you could potentially find different opportunities. For example, by typing crash. Hit enter. You’re going to find premium WordPress themes for crafts. As you can see this first one here, it says arts right in the title.

[00:11:45] So that could be a good one. What I recommend that you do, let’s spend some time going through and find a premium theme that will be harmonious or in line with your target. Once you find one that you like, you will click on this button and add it to the cart. When you add it to the cart, you will check out and pay for the premium theme.

[00:12:03] And then you’re going to download that zip file to your computer. Once you download the zip file, you will unpack that zip file, and there will be a second file. We’re going to take that second file. And we are going to install it into the back office of our WordPress website. And to do that, we are simply going to go to.

[00:12:19] We’re going to click on themes. When we click on themes, we’re going to click on, add new, and then we’re going to click on upload theme. We’re going to drag and drop that second zip file right here. Or we can manually find it by clicking choose file and finding it. Once you edit here, you are going to click on install now and then activate.

[00:12:35] And just like that, we have a premium WordPress theme on our website. The next thing that we want to do is start writing. And I get three questions when it comes to creating a brand new blog, how do I start writing? How long should my blog posts be, and how many blog posts should I write? And I’m going to go ahead and answer two of those questions right now.

[00:12:53] So to start writing, you’re going to click on posts, and then you’re going to click on, add new. When you click on add new, we will add the keywords that we found here into our post title. All right. So we’re going to copy this keyword here, just like this. And we are going to paste it over into the title.

[00:13:11] Of our blog posts. And the reason why we’re doing this is we’re doing this so that we can get discovered through the search engine. This is called search engine optimization. And what we’re going to do is we are going to leave our keyword at the front, and then we are going to make our second half of our title so that our customers or potential audience wants to click on it.

[00:13:30] So we will just type in everything you need to. Nope. And this again is designed to get people to click on our link. And to read our blog posts. And so that is how you start writing. Now, the question is, how long should our blog post speed? And that only depends on a few factors. It depends on our keyword.

[00:13:52] It depends on what our competitors are writing. And it depends on how many words it takes to answer the. In general, your blog posts should only be as long as it needs to be. One way to determine how long your blog posts should be is by pasting in the keyword, looking up, and seeing what your competitors are doing.

[00:14:10] Now, what I recommend that you do is open this one right here. This is a website we were just looking at. And this website, this blog post looks like. It’s probably about, oh, this blog post is short, but it has a lot of comments. So if we scroll back up here this blog post, if I had to guess, it’s probably about 2,500.

[00:14:28] So if we do word counter, it’s 2000 words. So that should give you an idea of how long your blog post should be. It should be at least 2000 words. What I recommend that you do is I recommend that you go through and read this blog post, just come through it and try and figure it out. Topics the blog post didn’t cover.

[00:14:46] That’s going to help you add more credibility and more relevancy. And everything that you can do is take 10 minutes before we start writing and do a little brainstorming session to help you with brainstorming. So I like to start with these writing prompts. Who, what, when, where, why, and how? And so what we’ll do is we’ll take about 10 or 15 minutes, and we’ll just ask questions concerning our keyword.

[00:15:09] So we could say when. To use this curtain. And so what I want you to remember is that when you are brainstorming, you mustn’t worry about spelling words correctly. It’s more important to get your ideas onto paper and not necessarily worry about spelling words correctly because you’re always going to come back when you write your blog posts to finish that up.

[00:15:31] You want to take 10 or 15 minutes—basic questions concerning your keyword. After the 10 minutes is up, you will simply delete the ones that didn’t make sense or aren’t going to help your blog posts. And you’re going to keep the ones that will help your blog post and help answer your customer’s questions.

[00:15:47] You’re going to turn these questions into subheadings by clicking on the heading. And then you’re just going to go through and answer the question you should. You could say you should use this and these situations. Okay. And then you’re just going to go through and answer the questions and make sure that you’re helping the customer solve the problem that they came for.

[00:16:08] And then once you’re done, you’re going to go ahead and click publish. And once you click publish, it will be available for the world to see and read. All right. So if we go back over to our slide deck here, the next step is to figure out different ways to make money. And there are several ways to make money with your blog or website.

[00:16:23] If we look at this website here, For ads and you can place ads right on your website as well and make money. There are five ads, all of these with the best buy. And then this one right here in the bottom, right? I believe this is an ad as well. And the great thing with ads is that they can be automatically placed right on your way.

[00:16:40] And it can help you make money. When you first get started, you will probably have to work with Google AdSense. Google AdSense is an ad network that works with everybody. And the cool thing is once you click that get started button and the top writer in the middle, they’ll walk you through the steps of having ads placed on your website automatically.

[00:16:58] You don’t have to do a whole lot of. You just have to answer a few questions, and ads will be automatically be placed. The downside to Google AdSense is that they don’t pay a lot, and you’re going to make pennies on the dollar until you start making significant traffic. Of course, once you have 10,000 page views per month, you can move to a premium ad network like Zoellick AdThrive or media.net, but there are other ways to make money as well.

[00:17:19] You can make money with. And with affiliate marketing, that’s simply recommending or selling other people’s products and services. And the way that affiliate marketing works is that you are going to go out and find affiliate programs that are congruent or in line with what your target audience is looking for.

[00:17:34] And you are simply going to put affiliate links in your blog posts. One affiliate program you can join is hobby lobby. I know they have an affiliate program. I believe Michael’s has one as well. And if you want to learn more about affiliate marketing, I do have. Free course, it’s the third link in the description.

[00:17:50] Go ahead and click that third one to learn about affiliate marketing for free. You can also sell your own physical and digital products. Maybe you’ve put together a book for crafts, a book of crafts for kids, a summer book of crafts for kids. And you can sell that right on your website. There are WordPress plugins and even some of these themes that we looked at before. They include a feature where you can sell your own digital or physical.

[00:18:13] Now, selling products is outside the scope of this video, but that is an option and an opportunity as well. If we jump back over here, the next step is to share your content on social media. I recommend that you share all of your blog posts, uploads them to social media. The reason why I think you should share them is simply you’re not going to get any organic traffic from Google or. It does take a little while for Google to see and recognize your content. In the meantime, you can share your content and relevant places. There are forums, Facebook groups, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube. There are several places where your customers or potential customers are already hanging out where you can share that content and start getting traffic.

[00:18:53] So every blog posted upload, just go ahead and share it to Pinterest and some of those other places as well. The final question that I get all the time is about how many blog posts. I feel like you should write 50 blog posts before deciding if this is worth continuing doing. I think 50 is a good number because you’re going to get better at writing.

[00:19:14] You’re going to get better at keyword research. You’re giving yourself 50 opportunities to gain traffic leads and sales, and you’re letting Google know that you are serious about writing. A lot of people stop after ten, and many more people stopped that for 20. So what I recommend that you do is go ahead and post 50 posts.

[00:19:31] Do one a day for 50 days or one every other day for 100 days. It doesn’t matter. As long as you get the 50 now, be sure to check out the three links in the description. The first one is web hosting. The second one is premium WordPress themes. And then the third one is to a free affiliate marketing course.

[00:19:46] Be sure to like subscribe, ring the bell to be notified when I upload my next video. Thanks for watching. And we’ll see you then.

How To Start A Nutrition Blog 2022

Unedited Transcript

[00:00:00] Hello. And welcome back to the channel today. I’m going to show you step-by-step how to start a nutrition blog. So what we’re going to cover today is a nutrition blog with a few examples, how to pick a niche and why you need to pick a niche and niche down so that you can start getting some traffic.

[00:00:13] The next step is to talk about what hosting is and how you can. If you click the first link in the description, you can get web hosting and your domain name for free for the first year. After that, we are going to install WordPress. After that, we are going to establish a premium and free WordPress theme.

[00:00:30] I’ll show you how to do that in just a moment. And I’ll show you some changes that you have to make to your web. Then, where else you won’t get any traffic after that, I’m going to show you how, why and what to start writing so that you can write faster. In addition, we are going to talk about some ways that you can make money, why you need to share your content on social media in the very beginning, and approximately how many blog posts you need to write before you decide your next steps.

[00:00:51] Be sure to check out the first three links in the description, as I will be referring to those three links throughout this video. So first things first, what is nutrition? The nutrition or nutritional blog is simply a blog where you’re answering questions about different food. And in just a moment, I’m going to show you some cool, other ways that you can niche down.

[00:01:09] But with nutrition or nutritional blogs, you are simply asking questions. So your audience, your customers, your viewers are coming to the internet. And they’re asking about basically dietary facts. So they could be asking about everything from McDonald’s nutrition. Up to how many calories are in a stick of celery.

[00:01:27] And so you’re going to create content to help solve that problem. And what I recommend that you do in the very beginning is do something called niching down. And I’m going to show you a few examples of why you need to niche down and maybe some shortcuts to help you do that. And so if we go over here to our keyword research tool, Mrs.

[00:01:43] this is something that I like to use. You don’t have to use it, which is typically nutrition. You didn’t see the keyword difficulty is 91. This is a scale of zero to 194 means it’s tough. However, if we look at matching terms and this will be a way to niche down, you can focus on different aspects of nutrition.

[00:02:01] For example, if you wanted to, you could focus on fast food nutrition that can make an exciting blog, and then you could turn them into health nuts. Once they see the nutrition facts of different fast-food restaurants, that’s just one way you see here. Keywords that are relatively difficult and relatively competitive.

[00:02:16] And so you’d want to look for something like Baldemar nutrition, which is only a five, and it gets 22,000 searches. And what you can do is click on this and niche down and find a lot of stuff to write about the thing that you can do. And this is that secret hack is you can go over to a website.

[00:02:31] That’s already getting a ton of traffic, and you can take a look and see which words they’re ranking. So, again, to help you get an idea of what you should be creating. So if I go over to site Explorer, I’m just going to paste this in, and we’re going to be able to see the keywords for which this website’s ranking.

[00:02:46] And what we’re going to do is we’re going to click on organic keywords once this pops up, and then we can get a better idea. So we click on organic keywords, and if we take a look, you can see the keyword difficulty, and these are all different keywords. These are keywords. Usual different keywords they’re ranking for as a new blog or website.

[00:03:03] I recommend that you try and go for words or keywords that are five or less. So they have a difficulty of five or less, as you can see here, almonds before workout a Sesame butter versus to honey, probably mispronounced that, but you could potentially create content on these aspects of nutrition and start getting traffic and then do what traffic, what you want with it.

[00:03:24] But this is an example of picking a niche and niching down. If we jump back over to our slide deck here, the next step is simply to get web hosting. Now, web hosting allows your internet to be visible to other people on the internet. What you’re going to do is click that first link in the description, and you are going to work with a web hosting company, and they’re going to host your website.

[00:03:45] So that people can see it. You are going to pay a relatively small monthly fee, and they will host everything for you. What we’re going to do right now is I’m going to walk you through the steps of getting web hosting and a domain name. Now a domain name is simply a name that your customers refer to your website.

[00:04:03] If we go over here, this is the domain name. The domain name is Toby door.com. And you’re going to get one of those for free for the first year. So we’re going to go ahead. And right now, we’re going to go through the steps of instance, getting web hosting and installing WordPress. So when you click that link, you’ll be taken to this website, where you’ll go ahead and click get started.

[00:04:19] I recommend clicking the first one on the far left, the basic plan. If you’re just getting started with a website, as you can see, there are several options, but click that click select and then move on. You’re going to create a domain name. If you have one in mind, you’re going to type it in here.

[00:04:32] Like you see that I do. What I recommend is to try and find a domain name. It’s going to be related to your niche. Now, what I do is type in a domain name that I know is already taken. When it’s accepted, you’re going to get this error. What you can then do is go back and try different domains. Now, make sure again, you want to pick one that’s related to your niche. Click next.

[00:04:51] And then you’re going to see a green box that says that it’s approved. The next step is simply to go through and enter your contact information. Make sure that you, when you scroll down here and make sure that you leave all of the settings on but. And turn in your contact information. The settings right here, where it says domain privacy, leave all of this check.

[00:05:09] If you don’t leave a check, you’re going to get people reaching out to you and spamming you, emailing you, trying to get you to sign up for web hosting. So what I’m going to do is I’m going to go ahead and sign up and then jump back to you once I sign on and move to the next step. All right. So I have signed up, and I’m going to go ahead and set up my website initially to create a simple username and pass.

[00:05:29] Make sure it meets the requirements there, and then move on, make sure that you write it down to write it down in a safe spot so that you have it. And you remember it because it can be a pain to go ahead and get everything back. So you’re going to have to enter in some vital information, but make sure that you write it down.

[00:05:45] It’s straightforward and effortless. Now, one thing that I do want to note is that this part is not spreading. This is real-time. And you can see that you’ll go from absolutely nothing to a complete website in less than probably 10 minutes. And once you click submit, you’re going to move on to the next step, where you get to log in. So here is where you’re going to start creating your WordPress website.

[00:06:06] Now, the great thing is Bluehost does everything for you. And it’s straightforward. So again, I’m not speeding us up at all, and I want you to see what it takes to create. So Bluehost is going to do a little bit of work in the background for you. And we’re just going to click on skip this step.

[00:06:22] This first one I clicked on. I started a blog, but just click, skip because we know what we’re doing for the next step. And I’m going to tell you what to do so that we can get up and running. Click get started right here on the left-hand side. And then move on. Just click, skip here and click skip here.

[00:06:41] And then pick the first one in the far left. Make sure that you’re choosing a tree theme because they’ll charge you. They have both free and premium articles, which we’ll talk about in just a moment. So right now, it’s creating your WordPress website in just a few moments. You’re going to click on login to WordPress on the right-hand side there.

[00:06:57] You’ll see it in just a second. And then, we can start looking at some basic configurations. All right. So we click to log in, and now we have a WordPress website. So what may need to have? And as you may need to click refresh a few times to get it to work, but now we have our website. So as you can see, what I’m going to do is I’m going to log in and delete a few plugins because right now, it has coming soon.

[00:07:21] And so if someone tried to get to your website at this moment, it’s going to say coming soon to them, even though we can see it, this is what your WordPress website looks like. But for everyone else outside of your network, it’s going to say coming soon. So what we’re going to do is we’re going to go down to plugins eventually, and we’re going to delete some of the plugins that we don’t need.

[00:07:39] Now, I talk a bit about plugins later on, but plugins add additional features and functionality. So we are going to deactivate the blue host and the other plugins that are already activated. And then we can go through and make the necessary changes, which I’ll cover in just a moment. So we’re going to deactivate them and then delete them.

[00:07:56] Now, you want to make sure that you only have the plugins that you’re using on your website. The more plugins you have, the slower your website will respond and function, and you’re going to lose out on ranking. So make sure you have a lean setup, very few plugins, and then move on. As you can see right now, I’m just simply deleting some stuff that you don’t.

[00:08:16] If you want to, you could keep them, but obviously, you don’t need this other stuff if you’re just getting started.

[00:08:48] And then the tagline is basically what your website’s all about. It any very succinct. As you can see here, mine says, get the latest news and info on all things, web hosting. What you want to do is make sure that yours is relevant to your niche. For example, if you are creating content about makeup, you can say, come here for the latest tips and tricks for all things makeup.

[00:09:09] Next, you want to ensure that your WordPress address is HTTPS and not HTTP. Make sure your site address is HTTPS as well. And then. Administration email should automatically be set to uncheck the membership so that anyone can register. Make sure that this is unchecked. If we scroll down here, you want to change your time zone to your time zone.

[00:09:30] There are all sorts of them here next. Do you want to make sure that you have your date format set to the way you want? And then go ahead and click save. If we go down to writing, there isn’t anything in writing that we need to change. After that, we’re going to go to reading and reading is very important.

[00:09:46] You want to make sure that your homepage displays to your latest host? That’s the first thing. And the second one is you want to make sure that your search engine visibility is. Do not checklist and discourage search engines from indexing. This site, you do not want this because if this is checked, people, aren’t be able to find your website, and everything that we do after this will be a waste.

[00:10:09] So go ahead and click save. This should be unchecked next if we go down to. There isn’t anything that we need to change here. Media, we can leave this as is, and then permalinks will be necessary right now. Your permalinks are set to plane. Do you want to change it to a post name? This has been done for search engine optimization.

[00:10:29] What’s going to happen is when we create a new blog post, we will make it so that it’s search engine optimized. We’re going to use the keyword in our title, and the keyword will show up right here is. And this is called search engine optimization. So make sure that it’s set to post name and then go ahead and click save, and that’s everything that you need to do to make sure that you start getting traffic.

[00:10:51] All right. So now that we’ve installed WordPress, we have a free theme. We’re going to go back and get a premium theme. I’m going to show you and tell you why that’s important in just a second. And we’ve also made some changes to our website so that we can start getting traffic. So now, right now, you have on your website a free theme.

[00:11:06] It’s essential. It has no features or additional functionality. You want to go out and find a premium theme that is going to be in line or congruent with your target audience. For example, if we go back over to this website, this is a premium WordPress theme. You see how it has additional features and functionality, and it just looks good.

[00:11:23] You want to go ahead and get a premium theme, and to do that, click the second link in the description, and it’ll take you to this website. And what we can do is we can find a theme based on ours. So we can type in nutrition, hit enter, and then you’re going to see there’s a bunch of different WordPress themes you could potentially download and buy an insult into your WordPress website.

[00:11:44] As you can see, these WordPress themes range from $19 up to about 99. I recommend that you go through, find a theme that you like, and simply add it to the cart. When you add it to the cart, you’re going to check out and buy that theme. Once you buy that theme, you’re going to download it to your computer.

[00:11:59] You’re going to unpack that zip file. And there’s going to be a second zip file. So when you unpack that first zip file and get a second one, you’re going to upload that into your WordPress website. And I’m going to show you how to do that right now. So we’re going to go over to our WordPress website.

[00:12:11] We’re right now. We’re in the dashboard. We’re going to go to appearance. We’re going to click on it. And when we click on themes, we’re going to click on, add new. And when we click on add new, we are simply going to upload a theme. Then we’re going to drag and drop that theme we just found, or you can do it the manual way and click choose a theme, and then find it on your download folder. Regardless of your method, you will click on install now and activate when you do that. You’re going to have a premium WordPress name with additional features and functionality.

[00:12:39] Now, let’s jump back over to our slide deck. The next step is to start writing simply. Now, I usually get three questions when it comes to—first, creating a new blog or website. Second, how long should my blog posts be? Third, how do I start writing, and how many blog posts should I write? So let’s go ahead and take care of two of those right now.

[00:12:54] And to start writing, we’re simply going to go over to our WordPress website. We’re going to go on posts. We’re going to click on all posts. And when we click on all posts, we’re going to click on, add new, and start writing. We’re simply going to take the keywords that we found over here. In the previous step, for example, Idaho potato nutrition.

[00:13:10] That’s a pretty good keyword there. We’re going to copy this, and we’re going to paste it at the title. Now again, the reason why we’re doing this is for keyword search engine optimization. We want our keyword to show up at the front to let Google and other search engines know this blog post.

[00:13:28] And we’re going to add in something for the human element. So we could say everything you need to. And this is designed to get clicks. And so now we need to figure out how long our blog posts should be and how to start writing a good indicator of how long your blog posts should be. So there are a few things.

[00:13:46] One, the question that’s being asked, what your competitors are writing. So they’re mine and how long it takes to answer the question altogether. So the first thing that we want to do is we want to open up a new tab. We’re going to paste in our keyword here, and we’re simply going to take a look at Idaho potato duck.

[00:14:03] And get an idea. Now, this might not be the best website to look at simply because they’re only going to have the nutrition facts. So what we could do is we could find a different actual blog, and let’s see, a card manager.com might be a good one. So if we go to carb manager.com and they’re probably only about 700 words, what could you do and help you write better? I’ll address this in just a moment, but let’s correct it.

[00:14:27] Click and take. At the word toner, it is 159 words. You could write a 1200 word blog post simply on carbs in Ida carbs in Idaho potatoes. It seems like it’s not possible, but let me show you how to do it. We’re going to go back over to our blog here, and we’re going to do a little bit of a brainstorming session.

[00:14:46] We’ll say who, what, when, where, why, and how? And so what we’re going to do is we’re going to take about 10 minutes, and we’re going to ask us. These questions with these writing prompt. This will help us write longer because once we’re done with the 10 minutes, we are simply going to ask ourselves these questions and then answer them in a paragraph.

[00:15:08] And then that will help us write a little bit longer. So let me give you a few examples. So our keyword here is Idaho potatoes, nutrition. We could say what. Is an Idaho potato. When you are doing this, you mustn’t worry about spelling when you are brainstorming. You want to get your ideas down on paper to generate as many ideas as possible.

[00:15:29] You could say, why are Y you can tell how did they come up with these nutrition facts? We could say, how did they develop the nutrition facts for Idaho? Okay. And so what you want to do is spend about 10 minutes and ask yourself these questions because this will help you write much longer, and it’s going to help you rank for multiple keywords.

[00:15:59] And you’re going to start building a following much more accessible. So again, you want to take 10 or 15 minutes and simply ask yourself who, what, when, where, why. That will spark other questions. So you just write them all down. And then, after 10 minutes, you’re simply going to keep the ones that you like or that are relevant to your keyword, and then just delete the ones that you don’t like.

[00:16:18] And, for example, let’s say we thought this was a bad idea. We’re going to delete that, but let’s say we want to keep this, and we’re going to turn this into a subheading or an H two. And as you can see, we have the H two here, and then we’re just going to answer the question. We could say a whoops.

[00:16:34] And Idaho potato is. And then obviously answer that question, but if you do it this way, you brainstorm for about 10 or 15 minutes, which will help you write much longer. And it’s also going to help you write much faster. And once you’re done with that, you will simply click on publish, and your blog post will be alive and available to the world.

[00:16:56] So if we jump back over to our slides, The next step is to figure out ways to make money. Now, there are several ways to make money with your website. The most common way to make money is simply by placing ads right on your website. I don’t see that any of these companies have ads. What you can do is you can work with a company called Google AdSense and have ads placed automatically on.

[00:17:18] And to do that. You’re simply going to click on the, get started here, and they’re going to walk you through the process of setting up Google AdSense, and then they’ll automatically place ads right on your website. The only downside to Google AdSense is that they’re not going to pay you a bunch of money initially.

[00:17:33] You’re going to make pennies on the dollar, but once you start getting significant traffic, you can move on to more premium ad networks. For example, easel wig, media.net ad drive. Those are premium ad networks. You can move. And you can start making even more money, but that’s just one way, one other way that you can make money simply with affiliate marketing.

[00:17:51] Now, you are recommending or selling other people’s products and services with affiliate marketing. The way that affiliate marketing works, if someone were to click on your affiliate link and make a purchase, you get paid a commission to start affiliate marketing. So you basically will find different affiliate programs that are congruent or in line with what your target audience is looking for.

[00:18:09] You will apply to that affiliate. And if you’re accepted, they will give you filial links. If you want to learn more about affiliate marketing, I have a free affiliate marketing course. That is the third link in the description. Another way that you can make money is simply by selling your own physical or digital products.

[00:18:25] If you have a nutrition course, you can sell that right from your WordPress website. If you have an ebook, you can sell that as well. Now, selling products from your website is outside of the scope of this video. But that is an opportunity as well. So if we jump back over to our slide deck, the next step is to share your content on social media.

[00:18:41] Now, I recommend that you do every single blog post that you upload share it on social media in the beginning. The reason why that’s important is simply that Google doesn’t trust your content. Yet what they’re doing is they’re comparing your content to the content that’s already out there, and they want to make sure that your content is about.

[00:18:58] And it’s accurate. And so what you can do is share your content and Facebook groups, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, you to be anywhere where you have a following and a fan base. So you can share your content there and start getting traffic. So that’s going to let Google now. And the other search engines know that you have valuable information, and they’re going to help speed up the process.

[00:19:18] Finally, the question that I get the most is how many blog posts. In my opinion, and this is just a personal opinion. You should set a goal of writing 50 blog posts. Now 50 is a significant number, simply because if you are setting yourself apart from many other blogs that were stopped and then abandoned too soon, it gives you 50 keywords to potentially rank on.

[00:19:38] And it’s just, you get better at. So the more you write, the better you get at it. Also, the more keywords you register for, the better chance you will have at getting a few of those keywords. So what I recommend that you do is write every day for 50 days, write every other day for 100 days and then take a step back and see how many.

[00:19:56] I’ll be sure to check out the three links in the description. The first one is for web hosting. The second one is for a premium WordPress theme. And then the third one is for free for the marketing course. So be sure to like subscribe, ring the bell, this video, or any other video on the shell helps you out.

[00:20:10] Thanks for watching. And we’ll see you tomorrow.

How To Start A Blog For A Church 2022

[00:00:00] Hello. And welcome back to the channel today. I’m going to show you step-by-step how to start a church blog. So basically, what we are going to cover today is what exactly is a church blog. I will show you how to pick a niche and why you need to pick a niche if you want your website to be seen.

[00:00:13] And then I’m going to talk a bit of niching down. The next step is to get web posting and get a domain name for free for the first year. After that, I am going to show you how to install WordPress. I’m actually to talk about what WordPress is a little bit. How do we install both a free and premium WordPress theme, essential changes that you have to make to your website to see how and why to start writing.

[00:00:35] After that, I’m going to show you different ways to make money. If that’s something that you’re interested in, I’m also going to show you and tell you why you need to share your content on social media and how many blog posts you need to write. There will be some caveats to this. Make sure that you check out the first lead links in the description.

[00:00:50] As these three links will cover. What we’re talking about today. So first things first, what is a church blog? Now? This is something that you’re going to have to spend some time to figure out an answer for yourself. In general, a church blog is a blog in which you will answer questions about either your church, your community, or your religion in general.

[00:01:11] And that’s why I say you need to spend some time to figure that out and think about where you want your, what direction you want your church. Because if you are going to provide information about your church simply, that’s going to be different than if you are going to provide information about your community, which will also be different if you provide information about your religion.

[00:01:30] So take some time figuring out which way you want to go, depending on what you pick, which direction you select. It will determine everything else. It’ll choose how you like a niche and how to niche down because those are three completely different avenues. If you are creating content, for example, about your church only, you will provide updates on upcoming events and past events.

[00:01:52] You are going to talk about things that are happening in and around the church. However, suppose you’re talking about your coming. In that case, that will be different and even more so different than if you are creating content about your religion, religious beliefs, or upcoming holidays. Now you can do all three, but that’s going to take a lot of work.

[00:02:09] I recommend focusing on. Maybe too. If you have the time, you can also hire someone else within the church to hire to write for you. But you want to make sure that you are picking one or two to get started. Then, once you decide on your direction, you want to go out and get web hosting. Now web hosting is required so that your website can be seen on the internet.

[00:02:29] You aren’t going to work with web hosting. In this case, the first link in the description is to set up web hosting. When you get started with that link, you’ll get your domain name for free. And just let me show you an exact. Oh, a website and why posting. And if we go over here to church answers.com, they have decided to create a website that answers questions about growing the church and revitalizing.

[00:02:52] So this is really towards the church leaders, which is an exciting concept, but there is a niche and a market, as you can see growing healthy churches together. So their goal is to help pastors and church organizers grow, which is yet another aspect of religion in developing your church. So if you look at this is an up here is church answers.

[00:03:14] Dotcom is the domain name. It’s what you would get for free for the first year. But what you can see here is a WordPress theme, which we’ll talk about in just a moment. But if we go back over here to get web hosting and domain name again, you need to have. You need to work with a web hosting provider so that your website can be seen.

[00:03:33] In fact, what we’re going to do next is I’m going to walk you through the process step by step of getting one posting, picking a domain name, and getting set up with everything that you need within 10 minutes. So let’s go ahead and do that. When you click that link, you’ll be taken to this website, where you’ll go ahead and click get started.

[00:03:47] I recommend clicking the first one on the far left, the basic plan. If you’re just getting started with a website, as you can see, there are several options, but click that click select, and then move on here. You’re going to create a domain name. If you have one in mind, you’re going to type it in here.

[00:04:00] Like you see that I do. What I recommend is to try and find a domain name. It’s going to be related to your niche. Now, what I do is type in a domain name that I know is already taken. When it’s accepted, you’re going to get this error. What you can then do is go back and try different domains. Now make sure again, you want to pick one that’s related to you.

[00:04:18] Click next. And then you’re going to see a green box that says that it’s approved. The next step is simply to go through and enter your contact information. Make sure that you, when you scroll down here and make sure that you leave all of the settings on but again, entering your contact information, the settings right here, where it says domain privacy, leave all of this checked.

[00:04:37] If you don’t leave a check, you’re going to get people reaching out to you. Spamming you, emailing you, trying to get you to sign up for. Web hosting. So what I’m going to do is I’m going to go ahead and sign up and then jump back to you once I sign on and move to the next step. All right. So I’ve signed up, and I’m going to go ahead and set up my website.

[00:04:54] Initially, just create a simple username and password and ensure it meets the requirements. And then move on, make sure that you write it down to write it down in a safe spot so that you have it. And you remember it because it can be a pain to go ahead and get everything back. So you will have to enter in some vital information, but just make sure that you write it down.

[00:05:13] It’s straightforward and effortless. Now, one thing that I do want to note is that this part is not sped up. This is real-time. And you can see that you’ll go from absolutely nothing to a complete website in less than probably 10 minutes. And once you click submit, you’re going to move on to the next step, where you get to log in. So here is where you’re going to start creating your WordPress website.

[00:05:34] Now, the great thing is Bluehost does everything for you. And it’s straightforward. So again, I’m not speeding this up at all, and I want you to see what it takes to create a web. So Bluehost is going to do a little bit of work in the background for you. And we’re just going to click on skip this step.

[00:05:50] This first one I clicked on, I started a blog, but for the next step, just click, skip, because we know what we’re doing. And I’m going to tell you what to do so that we can get up and running. So click get started right here on the left-hand side. And then move on, click, skip here and click skip. And then pick the first one in the far left. Make sure that you’re choosing a free theme because they’ll charge you.

[00:06:14] They have both free and premium themes, which we’ll talk about in just a moment. So right now, it’s creating your WordPress website in just a few moments. You’re going to click on log in to WordPress on the right-hand side there. You’ll see it in just a second. And then, we can start looking at some basic configurations.

[00:06:29] All right. So we click. And now we have a WordPress website. So what may need to happen is you may need to click refresh a few times to get it to work. But now we have our website. So as you can see, what I’m going to do is I’m going to log in and delete a few plugins because right now, it has coming soon.

[00:06:49] And so if someone tried to get to your website at this moment, it’s going to say coming soon to them, even though we can see it, this is what your WordPress website looks like, but for everyone else outside of your network, it’s going to say coming soon. So what we’re going to do is we’re going to go down to plugins eventually, and we’re going to delete some of the plugins that we don’t need.

[00:07:07] Now, I will talk about plugins later on, but plugins add additional features and functionality. So we are going to deactivate the blue host as well. Other plugins that are already activated, and then we can go through and make the necessary changes, which I’ll cover in just a moment. So we’re going to deactivate them and then delete them.

[00:07:24] Now, you want to make sure that you only have the plugins that you’re using on your website. The more plugins you have, the slower your website will respond and function, and you’re going to lose out on ranking. So make sure you have a lean setup, very few plugins, and then move on. As you can see right now, I simply believe some stuff you don’t need.

[00:07:42] If you want to, you could keep them, but obviously, you don’t need this other stuff if you’re just getting started. What’s more important is the themes that we’re going to talk about in just a moment, as well as getting writing. So I’m just going to go ahead and delete those, deactivate them. And then we’re going to start moving on to settings, which you see right here.

[00:07:59] All right. So now that we’ve installed WordPress, we’ve established a free WordPress theme. I’m going to show you in just a second how to install a premium WordPress theme. We’ve made some changes to our website so that the masses can see it. So now, right now, you have a free and basic WordPress theme.

[00:08:15] The problem with that theme is it has limited features and functionality. This right here, church answers.com is an example of a WordPress theme, a premium WordPress theme that has additional features and functionality. So what we’re going to do is we’re going to find one. That is congruent or in line with your audience.

[00:08:31] And we are going to go ahead and download it and install that on your WordPress website. And to do that, click the second link in the description. So when you click that second link, it’ll take you to this website. So what we’re going to do is we’re just going to type in church and the cool thing with some of these themes I’ve installed.

[00:08:46] A number of them are they’ll have—different things like a donation button. So you can collect donations online. It’ll allow you to live stream if you can’t. If some of your members can’t attend church in person, there are just several features and benefits to getting a premium WordPress theme for your church, a website there are calendars.

[00:09:04], what I recommend that you do is once you click that second link in the description, go through and find a WordPress theme of a premium WordPress theme that will work best for you. Please don’t spend a ton of time on this, but you must go ahead and get one. As you can see, there are a number of them.

[00:09:19] They range anywhere from $34 to close to 99. So what you’re going to do is once you find a theme that you’re like, You’re going to press this button to add it to your cart. You are going to purchase the theme, and then you will download a zip file to your computer. Once you get that zip file, you are going to unpack that zip file.

[00:09:36] And there’s going to be a second zip file. What we’re going to do next is we’re going to install that second zip file right into our WordPress website. And to do that, we are going to go to appearance. We’re going to click on themes. And when we click on articles, we’re going to click on, add new. When we click on add new, we’re going to click on upload.

[00:09:55] And then we’re going to drag and drop that second zip file right here. Or you can click on choose file and go ahead and find it manually. Regardless of the method you choose, you are going to click on install now and then activate once you do that, you will have a premium WordPress theme right on your website.

[00:10:10] The next thing that we need to do is start writing. Now I get several questions. I get three main questions when it comes to creating and writing blog posts. How do I write a blog post? How long should my blog post? And how many blog posts should I write before deciding if this is worth continuing? The first two I can answer right now.

[00:10:27] I’m going to answer for you right now. So what we’re going to do is we’re going to jump back over to our WordPress back office here. We’re going to click on it. And we’re going to click on, add new. So now you want to make sure that you create a new post and not a new page. And what we’re going to do is we’re going to enter in a keyword.

[00:10:43] Now, the purpose of entering in a keyword or keyword phrase is so that we can be optimized for search. We want to get discovered organically. And to do that, we can, for example, let’s say we wanted to, let’s go to this blog here, and we’re just going to find one of their keywords. Let’s see.

[00:10:59] No more ghost towns winning over three kinds of your most challenging church members. Could say how to win over your most challenging church members. So we’re going to assume that’s a keyword. We’re going to put how to win over your most challenging church members. Okay. And so, let’s take that’s our keyword.

[00:11:22] And what we’re going to do is we are going to take 10 or 15 minutes and just brainstorm using the simple which. What, when, where, why, and how brainstorming method and why I like doing it this way is because again, our goal is to solve problems. The customers or that our target audience has. And when you do who, what, when, where, why, how it’s fundamental, but it helps to answer the question.

[00:11:50] And what I’d like to do is ask and answer questions with the mindset of our keyword. Who let’s see, where are we at? Who is your most challenging shirt? Remember now when you are doing this, it is not essential that you get spelling correctly. It’s more important that you get your ideas down on paper or a computer to have as much as many ideas as possible so that you can write as thoroughly as possible.

[00:12:20] Why are they your most difficult church? So as you can see, I am writing errors, but that’s okay. Because when I go through and write my blog posts, I can clean this up, and it’ll look perfect. When are they, when do they become your most challenging church? As you can see here, I’ve got a lot of misspelled words, but that is done unintentionally just to get it on paper so I can move on to the next step.

[00:12:54] Again, spend 10 or 15 minutes brainstorming, write down all of your ideas. Good, bad. An average, because what we’re going to do next is we will delete the bad ones. We’re going to keep the good ones, and we’re going to turn the good ones into subheadings. So what we’re going to do is just who your most challenging church member is?

[00:13:10] Let’s clean that up. Clean that up. Who are your most challenging church members? I’m going to turn this into an H two. As you can see here, each two, this is a Hone. You should only have one. Have one per blog post. And what you’re going to do is you’re just going to start writing. So I’m going to say my most challenging.

[00:13:28] Church members are the ones that sit in the back or whatever the answer is. And you’re simply going to write to answer the question and solve the problem. Now, this leads me to the next question. How long should my blog posts be? Your blog post should only be as long as it needs to be and what we’re going to do here to figure out approximately how long it should be is we are going to paste in this question.

[00:13:49] Into Google. And what we’re looking for is we’re looking for w we’re looking for how long other people are writing, though. So this is probably about a thousand-word blog post, about six 50 at this point, and what we’re doing here—6 0 2, and what we’re doing is we are simply going to write.

[00:14:08] Longer, we’re going to write maybe six, 700, 800,000 words. And what you can do to make sure that you are hitting that target is review this blog post and review view the first five or six and figure out what your competitors haven’t answered, what angle hasn’t approached. And when you do the who, what, when, where, why, how method as I’m showing you.

[00:14:30] It’s going to help you write longer and get to that 1000 word length because you are answering the question and trying to help. Suppose you think about it like this, who, what, when, where, why, how it will generate a lot of questions, and it’s going to help you write longer. Now you don’t want to.

[00:14:46] 10,000 word blog post. If the question can be answered with 1000 or 2000 words, there’s no benefit to going extra long like that. It’ll probably be more diminishing returns because Google will see it as fluff and unnecessary. So make sure that your blog post is only as long as it needs to be, but try and make sure that you’re answering the question thoroughly. Try and put yours.

[00:15:10] Mine try and take your customer’s approach and the questions they will ask the next concerning this topic. All right. So if we jump back over to our slide deck here, we’ve started writing. The next step is to figure out ways to make money. Now, there are several ways to make money with your blog or website.

[00:15:26] As I mentioned earlier, you could collect donations right on your website. You can sell products. If we go back up here, the let’s cart button allows you to sell things. Maybe you can sell seeds. Perhaps there are specific invitations or luncheons that you’re having. You can sell them here. You can also sell courses.

[00:15:42] They were probably selling several courses. Self-paced video training, and you can make money that way. You can also make money with affiliate marketing. Now, affiliate marketing is simply recommending or selling other people’s products and services. Affiliate marketing works to find affiliate programs that are in or congruent with your target audience.

[00:16:00] You are going to get your affiliate links from that company, and you are going to, and you are going to paste them right on your web. When people click on the product and buy, you get paid a commission. You can become an affiliate for Bibles. You can be an affiliate for church robes, hymnals. There are all sorts of things, as long as it is, as long as it is in line with your target audience.

[00:16:21] So there’s a lot of opportunities out there for affiliate marketing. If you want to learn more about it through marketing, I do have a free course. It’s the third link in the description. Go ahead and click that, and you’ll learn affiliate marketing. Step-by-step if we go back over here. You can also create and sell your own digital and physical products.

[00:16:38] Another way to make money with your blog is to sell your own physical and digital products. Maybe you have t-shirts, or you have something that has your name and logo on it. You could go out and sell that and make money that way as well. All right. If we scroll down here, the next thing that I recommend that you do is go ahead and share your continental media, sharing your content with your congregation.

[00:16:58] Most likely, you have a Facebook page or a Facebook group. So go ahead and share it there and invite people, encourage people to read it. And comment on the information that you’re providing. You will find that if you can get people to read and interact with your blog posts, they will form a stronger bond with your church, and they’ll probably buy whatever it is that your songs.

[00:17:19] You want to make sure that you are sharing your content on social media. You can also share it on Twitter and Facebook and Instagram, and Tik TOK and read it. You can share it anywhere that people are congregating and need to hear your message. So the next thing that we want to take a look at is the number of blog posts you should write before determining if you should continue or give up.

[00:17:39] In my opinion, you should write 50 blog posts before you determine if your website’s a success or failure because you are a church. I think. You should just continue writing regardless because your goal is to get your message out there to the world. In reality, I usually tell people 50 blog posts, but just continue writing, write as much as you can to continue to further the word.

[00:18:02] All right. So make sure you check out the three links in the description. Those three links are designed to help. The first link is to get web hosting and a domain name for free for the first year. The second link is for a premium WordPress theme. And the third link is to learn affiliate marketing for free.
